UNCOMPROMISING SAFETY Weighing only 1 kg, the lightweight and flexible airbag unit can be integrated in the strap system of the mesh pocket in the backpack's main compartment in no time at all. The sewn-in operating and folding instructions make this even easier. A Velcro cover protects the chest zip at the top of the backpack without restricting its functionality. This means the backpack can also be used all year round, without the R.A.S. unit. For best possible handling in case of an emergency the release handle on the shoulder strap is fixed in the perfect position according to the wearer's body height. In addition, a foldaway zip prevents accidental closing of the opening for the handle. To ensure that the cartridge does not twist, it is stowed and fixed in a separate pocket in the backpack's interior. This pocket is designed to accommodate both European carbon cartridges as well as refillable US-American aluminum cartridges. There is an additional avalanche safety compartment for shovel and probe (including an emergency plan) in the main compartment of the 20-litre version, and in a separate compartment on the 30-litre backpack. It goes without saying that this LINE model is also equipped with the obligatory leg loop, safety closure on the waist strap and reinforced aluminum buckles on the shoulder straps. OPTIMUM CARRYING COMFORT GUARANTEED A brand-new and convenient feature of the LINE backpack range is the quick access option to the main compartment via the back section which can be folded down completely. This allows you to see and organise everything inside. We've also developed an innovative drinking tube especially for this purpose. The hydration bladder pocket is positioned on the inside of the pack's back section, and the shoulder strap with drinking tube exit is insulated. The extra-wide hip wings of the LINE R.A.S. feature large integrated zip pockets that are easy to access and can be closed securely. They offer additional space for your smartphone, energy bars or other small necessities without bulking out the pack. Just like the shoulder straps, the hip wings literally grow out of the backpack. The bionic connection ensures not only better weight distribution onto the hips but also EVOC's signature BODY-HUGGING effect: The ergonomic NEUTRALITE carrying system adapts to the wearer's torso to make the backpack become one with the rider. We've optimised the pack's ventilation system by adding horizontal ventilation channels to the back panel. This way air can escape towards the sides even when the backpack is worn very closely to the body.
