Wednesday January 14th 7pm
This is a brand new class aimed at anyone who has done an Ironman or 70.3 and is looking to improve their time or performance.
Rob goes through the lessons he has learned over the last number of years on his journey from back of the pack finisher in his first Ironman in France in 2008 to qualifying for and racing in the Ironman World Championships in Kona in 2012 and 2013.
The lessons will apply to those looking to improve performance or position or attempt to qualify for Kona. The talk will have advice covering all aspects of training and preparation including the swim, bike and run. He will also share his tips on nutrition, recovery, mental training, coaching, equipment, bike set up, bike fitting and his favourite training sessions. He will share how he incorporated the theory of marginal gains in his preparation, training and racing.
This is a free event but we do ask that you register for your place. We are proud to support Down Syndrome Ireland and if you would like to make a donation on the evening we will happily accept it on their behalf.
We will also be providing tea and coffee and there will be special offers on the day for all who attend.
