Robs Blog Race The Ras Day 8

Today’s post is only a quick note I’ll write later about the full week, we finished in skerries after riding over 1260km in the last 8 days. Aisling led the group over the finish line as the first and only woman to ride the route of the Ras. A lot of the lads have said that they feel a sense of anti climax today, the camaraderie, banter, team spirit and friendships that formed over the last 8 days made it one of the most enjoyable events I’ve ever done and I think almost everyone thought the same. I’ll write a full race report over the next couple of weeks.

Kona Secrets book available

Kona Secrets: Lessons learned from over 50 Kona Qualifications.

Knowledge doesn’t produce results, action does. Just knowing how to do something doesn’t guarantee success, especially something as difficult as qualifying for Kona; you have to put in the hours. In this book I share some of the lessons I learnt between being a back-of-the-pack beginner to qualifying for the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii.

The eBook is now available to buy as an eBook on Amazon UK or Amazon US.
