Wheels & Tyres

The wheels are Bontrager Connection alloy and come shod with Bontrager H2 tyres. They are a generous 700x32c size which offers excellent grip and comfort.

Lightweight frame and fork

The FX 2 Disc is the entry level model in the FX disc range. The frame is made from lightweight FX Alpha Gold Aluminium. It is DuoTrap S compatible which means you can fit an internal speed and cadence sensor that will pair up with Garmin GPS computer or watch or a bluetooth or Ant+ smartphone to track speed, distance etc.

Rack & Fender mounts

The frame also has rack and mudguard mounts front and rear. The fork on the FX 2 disc is also lightweight alloy.

Stopping and Going

The brakes are Tektro M280 mechanical disc and the drivetrain is Shimano 24 speed with an Acera rear deraileur. Highlights include a triple front chainset with 48/38/28 chainrings and wide ratio 11-32 8 speed rear cassette.

Comfort

Comfort is provided up front by Bontrager Satellite ergonomic handle bar grips and out back also by Bontrager with their Sport leisure saddle.
